Why choose the home of nature-based play
In today’s world children don’t always get the opportunities to really connect with nature. At The Childcare Hub our vision and values are based around nature-based play.
- We encourage pre-schoolers to embrace the ‘great outdoors’, their room enables free-flow access to the large private garden, allowing children to use the garden as they wish throughout the day.
- All the resources are as natural as possible. Children have access to a variety of toys made from wood, however we also try make all fun activities nature based. Children enjoy use of mud kitchens, plant flowers and climb trees, all helping to boost confidence and self-esteem before starting mainstream school.
- Being the home of nature-based play, little green figures are nurtured. On the rooftop garden, children can plant and care for vegetables and herbs, to use them for their own pizza creations which they cook in the outside pizza oven.
- Putting nutrition first, all of our meals are freshly prepared in our Kids Play Kitchen.
- We use the ‘Planning in the Moment’ teaching method, enabling us to increase the learning opportunities for your child.
- Pre-Schoolers also are exposed to Forest School sessions at The Childcare Hub, where they build dens, hunt for mini beasts and cook on campfires.

*Terms & Conditions –4 weeks free childcare T&C’s. Subject to availability. Offer valid for up to 4 Weeks in 2021/22 when booking at least 1 month in the Nursery. The 4 free weeks can be 4 individual block weeks but must be used within the child’s first 12 months and cannot be taken on individual days. Part-time places will be pro-rata.
